Ruth’s motherless calves she is raising after their mothers were shot
Monday 7th July, will see 73 year old farmer Ruth Downey, back in NSW Narrabri court.
Incredibly that will be the fourth week her case of alleged animal neglect brought against her by the RSPCA has been running. The cost of this case instigated by the publicly funded RSPCA Group currently advertising for more funding, will be massive considering it just involves a tiny 73 year old woman, who runs her small farm in the NSW Pilaga scrub. Four weeks in court would be a murder trial time frame.
The RSPCA, Rural Lands Board, and Police invaded her property last year where upon a member of the RSPCA staff callously executed 43 cattle including Ruth’s bull.
Amazingly they left alive the few week old nursing calves that Ruth was obliged to raised on the milk tanks as their lactating mothers had been exterminated – see picture below.

Until the case has been heard we are bound not to comment on the proceedings, we are not, we are commenting that which is in the public arena which suxs.
If you can get to the Narrabri court on Monday at 9 am, or any of the 5 days to support Ruth in her quest for illusive justice, she would appreciate your support.
