On March 6, 2012, Brandon Turbeville from Activist Post wrote an article entitled “Mass Banking Resignations Signal A Purging Has Begun?” where he included a list of banking directors, CEOs, and board members of both national and international financial institutions standing who have resigned from their post since September 2011. The data was collected and compiled by independent blog American Kabuki and posted onlinecomplete with a description of the individual, location, and link to the resignation announcement where it was covered in the mainstream media.
At the time his article was posted, the list had already topped 122. This prompted many, including myself, to question whether or not 122 was actually such a large number, given that there are many national and international institutions across the globe, as well as the fact that these resignations took place within a span of a period of about five months.
Certainly, the number seemed enormous.
What these statistics revealed was a staggering increase in the number of resignations announced around the second and third quarters of 2011.
Indeed, a recent post by American Kabuki now shows that the number of resignations stand at 358, almost triple the number originally posted.
The revised list of resignations will be included at the end of this article along with the links to the announcements.
With all of this in mind, and, if the research provided by American Kabuki is correct, then the only question really left for us to ask is “Why?”
Why are so many bankers, CEOs, fund managers, and investors resigning all at once? Why now?
One might be tempted to ask whether or not there is a coming investigation that these individuals are trying to avoid but, given the track record of the regulatory system, this is not our most likely option. Considering the current state of the economy, it might seem more logical to ask if these individuals are not trying to abandon ship before the collapse of the world financial system finally takes place.
Or it could be something entirely different. At this point, we simply do not know. Regardless, something big is obviously happening in the financial world and the forces behind it are acting on information that the general public is unaware of.

Last week, Intel introduced to the public in Russia and other CIS countries a family of processors Intel Xeon E5-2600. They are more powerful and reliable and, importantly, are very economical in terms of energy consumption. Their presence opens a new era in the field of IT technologies and means that the cloud technology is getting closer.
These processors are primarily designed for servers, data centers (DPC) and supercomputers. The emergence of this class of devices is not accidental. According to the regional director of Intel in Russia and other CIS states Dmitri Konash who spoke at the event, the market of IT-technology is developing so rapidly that, according to forecasts, by 2015 there will be 15 billion devices connected to the Internet, and over 3 billion of active users.
It is estimated that at this rate of growth every Internet user will daily create over four gigabytes of traffic. This, in turn, will lead to the fact that the volume of stored data will increase annually by nearly 50 percent. In short, in the near future, server administrators may face serious problems.
The original way out of the situation was proposed a while ago – the so-called cloud server. The cloud (or, as it is also called, scattered) data processing is a processing technology, in which computing resources and power are provided to the user as a web service. Simply put, with this approach most of the information is stored on servers in the Internet and cached temporarily on the client side, for example, personal computers, game consoles, laptops, smartphones and tablets.
Clearly, this technology involves the creation of virtual servers, also known as cloud servers. They play the role of intermediaries between the actual computers and software involved in cloud computing (called middleware control). In order for the cloud server to work without glitches, the real servers need powerful processors. These are a family of devices from Intel Xeon E5 – a group of new generation processors.
What are their characteristics? First, they can include up to eight cores (clock frequency of 2.9 GHz each) and up to 768 gigabytes of memory. This makes their productivity 80 percent larger than the Intel Xeon processor 5600 of the previous generation. In addition, they support a set of commands Intel Advanced Vector Extensions (Intel AVX), which doubles the speed of the various demanding applications.
The latter is very important. Traffic is steadily increasing, and current servers must provide not only high-speed computing, but also quickly transfer the data to support the work of the most demanding applications and increase the capacity of data centers. There is another know-how. Processor Intel Xeon E5-2600 solves this problem by using technology Intel Integrated I / O and Intel Data Direct I / O. They allow the Ethernet-controllers and adaptors of Intel to route traffic of I/O subsystem directly in the cache of the processor, reducing the amount of data to system memory and reducing energy consumption and latency of I/O subsystem.
Everything in the new processors is aimed at making the servers more timely, reliable, and, last but not least, energy conserving, because energy shortages in the world are increasing at the same rate as the Internet traffic. In addition, the introduction of platforms containing these processors will reduce the actual number of computers involved in the creation of the cloud of virtual servers. This means that the cloud technology will enter into our lives at an increasingly faster pace.
However, this is something for the future, albeit not too far. Today, such calculations are mainly used by academics. They were the first to appreciate the capabilities of the new technology. Vladimir Antsypovich, General Director of Hydromet Data Center, said: “Roshydromet started developing the next step of modernization. In preparation for this project energy-efficient computing cluster was installed based on the architecture of “RSK Tornado” and the new server processors Intel Xeon E5- in 2690.
This supercomputer that has peak performance 35TFLOPS, allowed to increase the total capacity of our data center more than twofold. At the pilot stage of the operation the new cluster of Roshydromet has become a tool for the Russian meteorologists for the further development of operational techniques to improve the accuracy, timeliness and detail of weather forecasts. ”
Kirill Bogachev, technical director of Rock Flow Dynamics, gave a high evaluation of the design as well. His company is engaged in the modeling of exploration and development of oil and gas. According to Mr. Bogachev, modeling using platforms with the new processors is done three to four times faster. “Growth in the number of cores and a significant expansion of the channel with memory sharing in systems based on Intel Xeon E5 can achieve almost ideal scaling factors and the calculations significantly improve the competitiveness of our software,” said Kirill Bogachev in his report.
It looks like the scientists and technologists are quite happy with the new design from Intel. Incidentally, they are not alone. According to technical director of Studio Main Road | Post Michael Yassin, “Specialists of Studio Main Road | Post have developed creative solutions and created large-scale visual effects for the new film directed by Janicke Fayzieva,”August. Eighth,” recently shown in Russia. The level of visual effects and computer characters for the film was so high that the company had to expand its data center based on the Intel Xeon processor 5680 and implementation of server solutions of RAC Group of Companies.
Because of this collaboration, all the results have been obtained without restrictions, on time and achieved the highest quality visual effects. However, we are currently working on a number of new film projects – e.g., “Stalingrad” by Fyodor Bondarchuk – where the grand scale of visual effects will require the use of even more computing power to implement them.
Therefore, we tested the computational efficiency of the servers based on the new processors Intel Xeon E5-2600, and achieved 18 percent performance boost over previous generation of server processors Intel. It gives us great optimism about the prospects for the use of servers based on the new processors Intel Xeon E5 for the best results in our work.”
It should be noted that experts from the RAC Group of Companies, a longtime partner of Intel, immediately offered to upgrade its architecture “RSK Tornado” for energy-efficient and compact solutions in high-performance computing and data processing centers (DPC). This new solution of RAC is nothing but the world’s first implementation of advanced liquid cooling system in conjunction with the new processors Intel Xeon E5-2600 (the highest-performance model Intel Xeon E5-2690 is used) and on server motherboards Intel.
With the advantages of liquid cooling, each processor core can operate normally in the high frequency of 3.3 gigahertz (that is, increasing the operating frequency by 400 MHz from the nominal due to the technology Intel Turbo Boost, implemented in the processor). This provides additional performance for customers. The system itself is stable and works without disruptions.
Without a doubt, this Intel development opens a new era in the field of IT-technologies that has started on March 15, 2012.

Until recently, due to the lack of quality statistical studies, too great of a role in the great debate between vegetarians and meat eaters was played by a rhetorical component. A large-scale study involving 120,000 people showed that consumption of red meat significantly reduces life expectancy.
The position of vegetarians, due to the lack of data on long-term effects of meat diet on health, often boiled down to not always scientifically sound and ethical reasoning. The meat eaters recognized the proven harm of pre-processed (smoked, canned, freeze dried, etc.) meat and large amounts of animal fats. However, they stood their ground, indicating that the nutrient properties of freshly prepared meats (also unproven scientifically) are more important than hypothetical long-term risk of meat diet.
A large study conducted by a group of doctors from the Harvard School of Public Health, who worked under the guidance of Doctor of Medicine An Pan, revealed that fears of vegetarians are absolutely justified. Consumption of red meat is clearly correlated with a higher risk of death from cardiovascular disease, certain cancers and metabolic diseases, while the replacement of meat from mammals with fish and poultry greatly reduces this risk.
The findings are published in the Archives of Internal Medicine – the journal of the American Medical Association.
In the analysis of long-term effects on meat diet, An Pan and his colleagues relied on a statistical study of an impressive scale. A total of 37,698 men and 83,644 women participated in the study. Their health, along with the diet, was tracked for 28 years in the second group, and for 22 years in the first group. During this time, 23,926 deaths were recorded in the two groups surveyed, of which 5,910 – from cardiovascular disease and 9,464 – from cancer.
“We found that higher consumption of red meat is associated with a significant increase in mortality from these diseases, and this relationship can be traced in the case of pre-processed and freshly prepared meats, with higher correlations for the pre-processed. When replacing red meat with fish, vegetables and poultry, there was an inverse relationship – reduced mortality,” the authors commented on the results of the study.
The study revealed that in total life expectancy falls by 13% in case of daily consumption of freshly prepared meat the size of a palm, and a whopping 20% of the daily consumption of portions of pre-processed meats – a hot dog or two strips of bacon. For the disease that became the cause of death in both groups, the dependence of risks from the consumption of red meat was as follows: the risk of cardiovascular disease increased by 18% and 21% for fresh and processed meat, respectively, and cancer – by 10% and 16%.
These numbers can be considered statistically neutral, that is, free from those observed during the variables such as age, body mass index, physical activity and family history of cardiovascular disease and cancer. It is also important that all the observed members of the group were physically healthy at the start of the study.
In the second part of the analysis, the authors assessed the combined effect of replacing red meat with other foodstuffs. It was found that the risk of death in case of the exclusion of red meat from the diet is lowered if the daily portion of meat is replaced by a portion of fish (by 7%), poultry (by 14%), nuts (by 19%), vegetables (by 10%) and cereals (by 14%).
“We also found that 9.3% of deaths among men and 7.6% among women could be prevented in the observed period of time if all participants reduced their daily consumption of red meat by 50%,” summarized the researchers.
In other words, three and a half thousand men and six thousand women who participated in the study would have survived if they had cut their meat consumption by at least in half.

Yesterday we reported that, Anonymous had released its own Linux distribution.
Not long after, one of the active Anonymous Twitter accounts tweeted that the operating system is in fact fake, and is “wrapped in Trojans”.
The OS has been downloaded over 20,000 times in less than four days, and while a couple of the comments on SourceFourge indicate that it is fake, it still has a user rating of 62%, with 37 users giving it the thumbs up.
The same tweet has also been shared by other Anonymous-labeled accounts including AnonNewsSec and YourAnonNews: Seeing lots of news about just-released purported “Anonymous OS.” BE CAREFUL! Remember the Zeus Trojan incident w/Slowloris recently!
Whoever is behind the OS has shot back with a post, saying:
The #anonops on their twitter account say “That Anonymous-OS is wrapped in trojans.”
Please people… in our world, in Linux and opensource world, there is not virus. If any user believe that Anonymous-OS “is wrapped in trojans” or “backdoored OS by any Law enforcement Company or Hacker” please don’t download it!
But don’t mislead the world that Linux is dangerous and has trojans!
It’s also worth noting that in the original post announcing the OS, the well-known Anonymous slogan has seen a slight change (emphasis is our own):
We are Anonymous.
We do not forgive.
We do not forget.
Don’t expect us, we are already here!
The departure from the typical Anonymous sign off could be an indication that there is definitely more here than meets the eye.
Either way, whether fake or not, as we advised earlier, it’s definitely not worth taking the risk of downloading the OS, no matter how curious you happen to be.

Edward Bernays believed that society could not be trusted to make rational and informed decisions on their own, and that guiding public opinion was essential within a democratic society. Bernays founded the Council on Public Relations and his 1928 book, Propaganda cites the methodology used in the application of effective emotional communication. He discovered that such communication is capable of manipulating the unconscious in an effort to produce a desired effect – namely, a capacity to manufacture mass social adherence in support of products, political candidates and social movements.
Nearly a century after his heyday, Bernays’ methodology is apparent in almost every form of civic and consumer persuasion. The platform of social media is being used in unprecedented new ways; one such example is a new online documentary about the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA), an extremist rebel group operating in Central Africa.
The documentary is unprecedented, not for its educational attributes but for its capacity to use visual branding, merchandising and highly potent emotional communication to influence the viewer to support US military operations in resource rich Central Africa under the pretext of capturing the LRA’s commander, Joseph Kony. The Lord’s Resistance Army was originally formed in 1987 in northwestern Uganda by members of the Acholi ethnic group, who were historically exploited as forced laborers by the British colonialists and later relegated by the nation’s dominant ethic groups following independence. Together with the Holy Spirit Movement, the LRA represented the armed wing of a resistance faction aiming to overthrow the government of current Ugandan President and staunch US military ally, Yoweri Museveni.
The LRA was originally formed to combat ethic marginalization, but soon became dominated by Joseph Kony, a self-proclaimed spiritual messenger of the (Christian) Holy Spirit. Kony utilized his messianic persona to lead a syncretic spiritual movement based on Acholi tribal beliefs’ and extremist Christian dogma. It is claimed that LRA seeks to establish a theocratic state based on the Ten Commandments, however, its inner ideological mythology is largely unknown. In an effort to mobilize a large scale armed resistance, the LRA routinely recruited child soldiers and forced them to commit heinous acts such as cannibalism and mutilation on others who resisted to join the rebel group during their extensive twenty-five year campaign.
KONY 2012 is directed by Jason Russell and runs just thirty minutes; the video has received over twenty million views on YouTube and Vimeo and it’s national support group on Facebook is said to gain 4,000 members each hour. The highly produced feature is narrated from the perspective of Russell and his attempt to explain the Lord’s Resistance Army to his infant son, Gavin. The video features footage from Russell’s trip to Uganda (prior to 2006, when the LRA was still operating in the region) and introduces the viewer to Jacob, a Ugandan boy who was formally recruited by the LRA as a child soldier. Russell presents various montages of ethically diverse groups of students raising their fists in the air, sporting KONY t-shirts, and scenes of mass celebration in response to President Obama signing the S. 1067: Lord’s Resistance Army Disarmament and Northern Uganda Recovery Act of 2009.
The bill was passed without congressional approval, and allows the US to deploy military forces in Uganda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Central African Republic and South Sudan (at the consent of those nations) in pursuit of LRA rebels. The film further advocates the requirement of public support for US military operations in the region through forms of street activism, encouraging viewers to purchase Action Kits ($30.00) and posters ($10.00) featuring images of Joseph Kony. Russell then targets specific celebrities and US policy makers and pressures them to endorse the campaign against Kony. Perhaps most absurdly, Russell suggests that without mass public support from the American public, the US would withdraw its military presence from the region.
This is the first large-scale campaign to mobilize social medialites to aggregate public support for what would otherwise be, controversial pro-intervention US foreign policy. The production relies on highly charged and often unrelated emotional triggers, which ultimately rely on the viewers sense of compassion in tandem with a lack of prior information on the subject to produce a desired result – explicitly, the villainous mythification of Kony and the mainstream acceptance of US presence in Africa through a proposed archipelago of AFRICOM military bases in the region.
The production targets an age group between thirteen and twenty-one, and uses a level of academic vocabulary appropriate for a young adult audience with a limited attention span; the narrator at one point even insists the viewer pay attention. The viewer is encouraged to form an emotional connection to Russell, as we witness unrelated footage of his child’s birth. The viewer is then subsequently associated with Russell’s role as a nurturer to his young son, before shifting to scenes of Russell nurturing the Ugandan child soldier, Jacob. Russell is shown prophetically pledging to stop the LRA to the traumatized and crying young boy. The intimate portrayal of emotion in these scenes work to further incite a reactionary response from the viewer, towards the preordained conclusion suggested in the narrative – a mass mobilization of support for the US military in their efforts to stop Jacob’s source of trauma. Bernays would be beside himself.
KONY 2012 is produced like any other sleek marketing campaign – instead of stimulating elements of self-satisfaction like advertisers would do to promote a product, US military intervention is justified to end an atrocious humanitarian catastrophe. The film also plays on an underlying theme of the White Man’s Burden, a notion that persons of European descent inherit a quality of guilt for their ancestors’ inclination for slavery and colonialism, requiring an activist response to finally correct the situation by “saving Africa.” During the Nigerian civil war in 1967, western media successfully used images of starving children for the first time to strengthen public support for military aid to the secessionist Republic of Biafra before rebel forces were defeated. This film attempts to purportedly “change the conversation of our culture,” however it remains a highly sophisticated refurbishment of pro-military interventionist foreign policy propaganda, dependent on dangerous subliminal messaging.
Invisible Children has partnered with two other organizations, Resolve and Digitaria, to create the LRA Crisis Tracker, a digital crisis-mapping platform that broadcasts attacks allegedly committed by the LRA. On its list of corporate sponsors, Resolve lists Human Rights Watch and the International Rescue Committee. Digitaria’s website boasts commercial clients such as CBS, FOX, MTV, ESPN, Adidas, NFL, Qualcomm, NBC, National Geographic, Hasbro and Warner Brothers. While KONY 2012 attempts to portray itself as an indigenous activist movement bent on bringing justice to African children, its parent organization is affiliated with the upper echelon of the US corporate media and a network of foundation-funded pro-war civil society groups with a long history of fomenting pro-US regime change under the banner of democratic institution building.
According to Invisible Children’s own LRA Crisis Tracker, not a single case of LRA activity has been reported in Uganda since 2006. The website records ninety eight deaths in the past year, with the vast majority taking place in the northeastern Bangadi region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, a tri-border expanse sharing territory with the Central African republic and South Sudan. Since December 2009, the eastern Djemah region of CAR has seen occasional LRA activity; the western Tambura region of South Sudan has experienced even less. The LRA has been in operation for over two decades, and presently remains at an extremely weakened state, with approximately 400 soldiers. Due to the extreme instability in northern DRC after decades of rebel insurgencies and Rwandan/Ugandan military incursions into the nation, it remains highly unlikely that cases of violence in the region can be sufficiently investigated before concluding LRA involvement.
The whereabouts of Joseph Kony are completely unknown; he was last seen in crossing between Sudan and CAR in 2010, according to unverified reports. The US military currently has one hundred military officers training and overseeing the Ugandan military in anti-LRA operations. Due to the complete absence of LRA activity in Uganda, it becomes feasible that the US may be planning further operations in the resource rich DRC. Over six million Congolese nationals have been killed in war since 1996, largely with US complicity. The regimes of Paul Kagame in Rwanda and Yoweri Museveni in Uganda have both received millions in military aid from the United States. Since the abhorrent failure of the 1993 US intervention in Somalia, the US has relied on the militaries of Rwanda, Uganda and Ethiopia to carry out US interests in proxy.
Paul Kagame of Rwanda has been given free reign by the US to conduct military operations inside DRC in the on-going ethnic conflict in that region following the 1994 Rwandan genocide. For Ugandan participation in the fight against Somalia’s al Shabaab,Museveni receives $45 million dollars in military aid. The US has contributed enormous sums to these nations and now is beginning to consolidate its presence in the region under Barack Obama and AFRICOM, the United States African Command. The LRA has contributed to less than one hundred unverified deaths in the past twelve months. Considering that the United States completely ignored events in DRC and Rwanda that collectively resulted in nearly seven million deaths, their participation against the ailing Lord’s Resistance Army is completely absurd by comparison.
Through AFRICOM, the United States is seeking a foothold in the incredibly resource rich central African block in a further maneuver to aggregate regional hegemony over China. DRC is one of the world’s largest regions without an effectively functioning government. It contains vast deposits of diamonds, cobalt, copper, uranium, magnesium, and tin while producing over $1 billion in gold each year. It is entirely feasible that the US can considerably increase its presence in DRC under the pretext of capturing Joseph Kony. The US may further mobilize ground forces, in addition to the use of predator drones and targeted missile strikes, inevitably killing civilians. In a press conference at the House Armed Services Committee on March 13, 2008, AFRICOM Commander, General William Ward stated that AFRICOM will further its regional presence by “operating under the principle theatre-goal of combating terrorism”.
During an AFRICOM Conference held at Fort McNair on February 18, 2008, Vice Admiral Robert T. Moeller openly declared AFRICOM’s guiding principle as protecting “the free flow of natural resources from Africa to the global market”, before citing China’s increasing presence in the region as challenging to American interests. The crimes of the Lord’s Resistance Army have been documented in the past and they are truly despicable actions. Presently, the operations of the LRA have nearly dissolved and their presence in the Democratic Republic of the Congo is difficult to verify. While the pro-war filmmakers behind KONY 2012 naively call for the US military to assert its place in the conflict, an independent fact finding mission would be far more effective in assessing the seriousness of the LRA threat in the present day.

Years ago, who could have imagined the appalling growing poverty level in the world’s richest country?
Various reports confirm it, including a new one by the University of Michigan’s National Poverty Center (NPC), titled “Extreme Poverty in the United States, 1996 to 2011”.
NPC promotes multidisciplinary research on poverty and policy. It mentors and trains poverty researchers. It analyzes causes and consequences, and addresses pressing policy questions at both federal and state levels.
How is poverty calculated, it asked?
The Census Bureau issues annual thresholds. They represent minimal income levels required to support various family sizes. Its methodology dates from the mid-1960s and hasn’t changed. Inflation’s taken into account annually. Families are judged poor based on pretax income. Non-cash benefits aren’t counted, such as Medicaid and food stamps.
In 2010, singles under 65 with incomes of $11,344 or less were designated poor. For those over 65, it was $10,458.
For single parents with one child, it’s $15,030. With two children, it’s $17,568. For two adults with no children, it’s $14,602. With one child, it’s $17,552. With two children, it’s $22,113. With three children, it’s $26,023.
Adjusted for inflation, current thresholds are slightly higher, but bear no relation to reality. Individuals and families need double or more these levels to avoid poverty. Moreover, jerry-rigged inflation numbers further distort cost of living effects on all households.
The Department of Health and Human Services has its own federal aid eligibility guidelines. They differ slightly from Census numbers, and reflect marginally higher Alaska and Hawaii thresholds.
NPC’s H. Luke Shaefer and Harvard Kennedy School’s Kathryn Edin studied how Clinton’s 1996 welfare reform affected millions of poor Americans.
The Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation (“welfare reform”) Act (PRWORA) changed eligibility rules. From 1935 until then, needy households got welfare payments through Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC). It protected states by sharing caseload costs during hard times.
Thereafter, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) set five-year time limits. It gave states fixed block grants to administer at their own discretion. As a result, America’s most needy face huge risks during economic downturns when reduced federal aid exacerbates dire conditions.
Under TANF, recipients must work or receive job training, even during hard times when employment is harder than ever to find. Moreover, single mothers with young children are grievously impacted. During their most formative years, children need them as caregivers.
With increasing austerity becoming official federal policy, protracted harder than ever hard times are assured. Future NPC and other reports will reflect them.
For example, in 1994/1995, AFDC served 75% of impoverished families with children. In 2008-2009, it was 28%. The percentage varies by state. Some help fewer than 10% of impoverished families.
Moreover, when TANF was established, contingency fund assurances were given. That was then. Austerity demands little or none. The 2009 Recovery Act included TANF Emergency Fund aid. In September 2010, it wasn’t renewed.
During today’s dire economic times, budget-strapped states force-feed harsh cuts. Vulnerable residents are harmed most, including families with children on TANF.
Moreover, its benefits are half or less of poverty thresholds. Based on real inflation adjusted dollars, they’ve dropped precipitously since 1996.
In 2011, NPC estimates 1.46 million US households lived on $2 or less a day. It reflects a 130% increase from 636,000 in 1996. Around 2.8 million children live in extreme poverty. It represents 16% of all those impoverished.
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits reduce, but don’t eliminate extreme poverty. So-called reform, said NPC, “has been followed by a dramatic decline in case assistance caseloads.”
They dropped from around 12.3 million 1996 monthly recipients to 4.4 million in June 2011. Adult beneficiaries comprise only 1.1 million.
As a result, millions of unemployed parents “have little access to means-tested income support programs.” A new generation of poor resulted. They include “households with children living on virtually no income.”
Children always are harmed most. Since November 2008, those affected increased dramatically at a time safety net protections are way inadequate and eroding.
Demographically, married couples comprised 37% of extreme poverty households. For single females, it’s 51%.
About 48% of affected households are headed by White non-Hispanics, 25% by Blacks, and 22% by Hispanics. NPC added:
Thus, extreme poverty is not limited to households headed by single mothers or disadvantaged minorities, though the percentage growth in extreme poverty over our study period was greatest among these groups.
It also said eroding social benefits are “leaving many households with children behind.” They haven’t enough resources to get by. TANF and other forced austerity bear most blame.
Given bipartisan agreement for additional deep cuts, America’s most vulnerable are more than ever on their own out of luck because policy makers able to prevent it don’t give a damn.
Cold hard truths reveal what they and complicit media scoundrels try hard to suppress. Growing impoverished millions reflect America’s dark side.

Solar storm arriving on Thursday may threaten power grid
According to astronomers, it’s the biggest phenomenon to hit the Earth in the last five years and may also impair GPS systems
The event started on the Sun on Tuesday night (6th), and its effects were due to arrive between 23h on Wednesday and Thursday 3am (GMT), according technicians of the Space Meteorology Center, the United States. They claim that the explosion is increasing in size as it moves away from the celestial body.
“It will hit us right in the nose,” said Joe Kunches, a scientist at National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration of the United States (its acronym in English, NOAA). It should last until Friday morning (9th), but the region where the solar storm came from can still send new explosive flares. According Kunches, another group of active sunspots are ready to explode in our direction after this storm.
But for now, scientists are hoping to see what will happen on Thursday, when the electrical particles reach the Earth at a speed of 6.4 million kilometers per hour.
For the next 14 months the sun will be the angriest it’s been since 1859. The massive storms electrify the geomagnetic field, affect the Arctic vortex, and warps and twists the jetstream creating gigantic vortexes sweeping across the defenseless Midwest.
Normal tornadoes become super-tornadoes that are super-destructive and much more numerous. What could be in store for North America? Tiny towns scraped off the map…major cities in ruins by the merciless hands of Nature gone mad

Police on two continents swooped on top members of computer hacking group LulzSec early today, and acting largely on evidence gathered by the organisation’s leader “Sabu” who sources say has been secretly working for the government for months arrested three and charged two more with conspiracy.
FoxNews reports that the arrests were part of a multinational sting across the United Kingdom, Ireland and the United States. LulzSec leader Hector Xavier Monsegur, who operated online under the alias “Sabu,” provided the Federal Bureau of Investigation with information leading to the arrests.
“This is devastating to the organization,” said an FBI official involved with the investigation. “We’re chopping off the head of LulzSec.” LulzSec, which became part of the larger hacker collective “Anonymous Operations” last year, has launched a number of high profile cyberattacks since last summer.
The last strong tweet by sabu was “The federal government is run by a bunch of fucking cowards. Don’t give in to these people. Fight back. Stay strong.”
Fox’s report, Sabu began working for the FBI in June after they busted him it’s unclear what his fate is now. What is clear is the enormous grin of the feds. Monsegur pleaded guilty on August 15 to 12 hacking-related charges and information documenting his admissions is expected to be unsealed in court today. As a result of Monsegur’s cooperation, which was confirmed by numerous senior officials, the remaining top-ranking members of LulzSec were arrested or hit with additional charges today.
The five charged in the LulzSec conspiracy indictment were identified by sources as: Ryan Ackroyd, aka “Kayla” and Jake Davis, aka “Topiary,” both of London; Darren Martyn, aka “pwnsauce” and Donncha O’Cearrbhail, aka “palladium,” both of Ireland; and Jeremy Hammond aka “Anarchaos,” of Chicago.
