US Authorities Hit Google With 70% Rise In Takedown Orders

The number of takedown orders received by Google from authorities based in the United States rose dramatically over the past year, with demands to remove information, including videos containing “government criticism,” increasing by 70 per cent.
“In the US, Google received 757 takedown requests across its sites and services, up 70 per cent from the second half of last year,” reports technology website V3.co.uk.
“US authorities also called for the removal of 113 videos from YouTube, including several documenting alleged police brutality which Google refused to take down.”
The figures are revealed in Google’s newly released transparency report, which also details how the number of “user data requests” by US authorities increased by 29 per cent compared to the last reporting period.
The reason listed for the removal of a You Tube video in one instance is “government criticism”. The exact identity or content of the video is not divulged. The report states that the removal requests pertaining to “police brutality” were done on the grounds of “defamation” and are included in that separate category, meaning the takedown order on the grounds of “government criticism” was made by the “executive,” ie the federal government.
The report does not indicate whether or not You Tube complied with the removal request, but it did comply with 63 per cent of the total requests made.
The number of “Items requested to be removed” by US authorities was almost seven-fold the number requested to be removed by Chinese authorities, a country much maligned for its Internet censorship policies.

As we have previously documented, Google-owned You Tube has complied with thousands of requests worldwide to remove political protest videos that are clearly not in violation of any copyright or national security interests and do not constitute defamation.
One such example was You Tube’s compliance with a request from the British government to censor footage of the British Constitution Group’s Lawful Rebellion protest, during which they attempted to civilly arrest Judge Michael Peake at Birkenhead county court.
When viewers in the UK attempted to watch videos of the protest, they were met with the message, “This content is not available in your country due to a government removal request.”
Indeed, the latest figures show that takedown requests on behalf of British authorities have also skyrocketed by 71 per cent, including 44 removal orders in the first half of this year which came directly from the UK government, one of which was the Birkenhead protest footage.
In Britain, a total of 135 videos were removed from You Tube on the grounds of “national security” and 43 web search results were also blacklisted by government decree.
These figures illustrate how governments, particularly the United States and Britain, are getting more aggressive in pushing for web censorship as the state increasingly tries to strangle the last bastion of true free speech, the Internet, as authorities simultaneously try to advance draconian cybersecurity measures that would hand them complete control over the world wide web.

Have also noticed that at least some videos critical of the federal government are not as easily shared on Facebook. Such shared videos will not contain the video title or a thumbnail image (which they are supposed to), just a link without a description.

Well Good Luck to that. There is so much out there on You Tube they would have to shut the whole thing down. It is too late for the government to object once millions have seen such videos. The copying and re-posting of said videos is paying off. They want this one or that one deleted well let’s give them millions more to sift through. They really won’t be able to keep up.

I don’t think that Google/YouTube are the arms..more like the greedy companies that get used by the real powers that be because of their enormous resources. The fact the Google has refused to remove certain YouTube channels such as ‘FindLaw’, ‘CopsOutofControl’, and ‘PhillyCopsAreCorrupt’ which depict graphic police brutality tells me that they aren’t enemy #1. Still, I’ll never trust em because companies with unlimited resources ALWAYS get taken over by their governments in one way or another.

Actually, I think YouTube was started by some younger folks who don’t understand how to really fight back. Videos are excellent, but I mean, they don’t know how to stop the government from telling them what to do.

Let me ask you a question, seeing that you live in BC Canada.
Who would you name as the Primary, Secondary and Tertiary targets? Where would you go to get them? Do you know what security they have and in what numbers? Do you know where all their secret enclaves are at and what time they will be there?
These, and many more questions have to be answered with the greatest intelligence that can be “bought”. Thats right…”bought”. It would have to come from some one on the inside to be accurate. ie Someone “in the know” who is trusted by the “mark”..
Without that type of intelligence, you are no better off than the dullards of the OWS group running around, wasting time money energy and allowing themselves to be “made” on cameras.
So tell us, who do we go after first? Who “runs” them? Where can they be found? What time will they be close to the FFP? How much security and what type of security do they have? Etc Etc Etc?
Let us know when you have all those answers. Perhaps your intelligence gathering apparatus is better than that of any one else.
On top of that, the intelligence has to be 100% correct or the mission shall fail. That is 100% accurate.
Then, who shall fund an op such as this? $$$$$ What about insertion and extraction? (Mobility) How about the weapons needed along with other supplies and having them at the right place at the right time (logistics)? How will you keep this op “Above Top Secret? @BiGpharmakillZ I bow to no one unless that respect is EARNED. When the Navy gave me an unlawful order, I refused in no uncertain terms, telling them to basically fuck off. I left the service with an honorable discharge because I was able to prove they were wrong. Recon knows what he is talking about, we CANNOT go into this “half cocked”. Being pro-active without having all the information will be suicide. Waiting sucks, but so does acting prematurely, especially when going against superior numbers. This battle, this war, will only be won through asymmetrical means. Not through blind, head on confrontation, at least on our part. Read Sun Tzu, then you will understand….

You are forgetting that we are all still human and we still need to get things done. This means realistically that you cannot defend your ideals 100% all the time. Yes a person instigated an action… but policy and direction by group and group interest are FAR more real and powerful than any bureaucrat and is after all the point of this site.
It was recommended the other day on Alex’s show by a guest and I already owned, “Psychological Warfare and the New World Order, by Servando Gozalez.”
I am only about 120 pages into it only so take my comments so far with that understanding… his point is that the CFR has been the planning force behind the NWO/Communism too… and that the CIA has always been the covert enforcement of that Banking Entity and have almost nothing to do with “intelligence,” in that the CFR itself is an intelligence gathering and implementation entity.
And that the CFR is central to the moves to a fascist corporate security state run with the goals of world gov./eugenics population reduction… through the tools in part of nonprofit organizations and think shops et al. … but Centrally the CFR.
His point is well taken and so far the book is indeed recommended… with this caveat: in the index we we don’t … find the words: Zionist, Israel, ADL, American Jewish Congress etc. .
Although I agree with 98% of the book so far… on must see all the outlines of the structure that holds together the elements of the Entity that we all face and there is an obvious Jewish tribal structure and as Keven MacDonald so well shows in his, “The Culture of Critique,” there is a Jewish psychic momentum that consciously, semiconsciously and unconscionably too defines much of the tide of world fascist control. These are my words not Mr. MacDonald’s.
In “Under the Sign of Scorpion,” we find personal responsibility of Jews who were involved in the slaughter of Christendom in Russia and Poland… but regressing back to the USA… we find both Jewish banking and the entity behind the CFR involved as well. Antony Sutton has listed the American and European corporations involved with the building of the “Soviet Union,” and then Sutton goes on to note the support for their boy Hitler later to take down Germany and rebuild it … after stopping the armies of the West before Berlin.
In fact… Servando Gozalez deals a good deal with the apparently assassination of General Patton by the OSS with some a very very interesting quote from a man who said he did it… to a group of OSS officers after “WW11.”
But in pointing… to an American housed and empowered organization… that is, to the CFR… as the coordinating group… is a service. The CFR is the outgrowth by the way of a group call The Inquiry that goes back to the Presidential Reader Wilson.
My take is that the CFR took the methods used by the Jewish tribe perhaps moderated by the various forms of Illuminism … through masonic lodges etc. … and ran them thought he modern technocratic state and added America as a secure base. Zionism was a central vein but perhaps not… in control or as much in control as it thought.

Truman assented to all of this… including the creation of the CIA and that the protection of the wealth of those families involved and the goal of world gov. was always the real… play.
Interestingly Gonzalez seems to see something that I was only recently becoming aware of and that is that Alger Hiss the supposed communist spy and first chair at the first U.N. meetings in SFO in I think 1944 before the war’s end… was actually CFR and only a “communist,” in that many in the OSS were communists or in sympathy with the emotional goals of world organization/eugenics etc. and the rise of an intellectual oligarchy that just incidentally… preserved wealth… .
My conclusion is that indeed the dropping of the bomb on Japanese cities was a psychic motivation to the world to bring in the U.N. after its rejection after the first phase of the World War… at the end of “WW1,” as the League of Nations. Notice “League” is more passive than “United.”
Sometimes all we have to do is step back from history and ask: “what was the actual… outcome?” Another indicator is, “who is NOT being talked about who are now in power?”
So we don’t see the CFR ever talked about as a controlling group in any mainstream press but a great deal about “Communism,” in the 20th century and now “terrorism.”
We are all focused too often with the question: “WHO IS IN CONTROL Ultimately?”
My posts often have commented on Jewish Tribal control but not because I thought even as my understanding has grown more fully to encompass what humanity faces… as the outline of its slavers are more clearly defined… but my point has been to say: “Nothing is taboo when discussing these matters and that propaganda and who writes and produces the propaganda… just might indicate our adversaries and the enemies of political Liberty and of individual human spiritually inspired creative growth?”

But it seems that “Jews,” although very centrally involved in the acts and intellectual movements are and were… a central element but also … we must remember… they were too… pieces on the board… knowingly and unknowingly.
Servando Gonzalas was educated in Havana… which is a significant fact. And later in the book he will be writing about Castro and his reality… . So forgive my ignorance and I will as I said post something about the book later. Much of the material will be familiar to many here but his take on the centrality of the CFR and the function of the CIA and their creation fills in wholes of emphasis.
One is always dumbstruck that all of this information was right there before us even today… and we filtered it as programed… . One aspect of being awake… is that one is humbled by one’s own manipulation.
Who do these maggots think they are? They are supposed to be public servants (that’s us), upholding Constitutional law, protecting the public (not beating the shit out of folks), and behaving according to a higher moral standard.

We have only brought this upon ourselves, and it now becomes a pure physics lesson. The amount of energy NOT put into knowing what your government is up to is directly proportional to the amount of energy that will be needed to right the wrongs that have befallen us by that governing body of elected officals. Multiply that by the number of years, (over 100) this has allowed to continue and the amount of time it would take to stop the wrongs, and you get some idea as to the conflagration that will be needed to bring this about in short order.
Political machinations WILL NOT solve this in our lifetime, (that is considering the minimal energy input we get from politicians). If you want to change things tomorrow, it will take the Will and munitions of thousands of American Citizen Patriots rising up in defiance of the Bull Shit like the article above exposes. Yesterday it was Obama spewing THREE AND A HALF MINUTES for the shutdown of the broadcasting companies.
Today on cbc, they were talking about moving the age of retirement up. The woman said that the freedom 55 had added 16 years to it, but now it’s at 12 years. (sorry for the numbers I can’t remember exactly). But what was really reveling is that she said “THAT IS THREE AND A HALF YEARS LESS THAN BEFORE. When really it was 4 years! Don’t think of the numbers, but instead listen for THREE AND A HALF!

Something is up here. They are playing to the T, right out of the KJV bible! I find it hard to believe that this is because what is written in the bible as being true, but infact it is because THEY planned it all this way. Why? They have spent trillions and trillions if not quadrillions of dollars on satellites surrounding the earth, and technology here on earth. Fact!
We are about to see a “messiah” come in the sky, the biggest movie screen in the world, which will speak every language, and look like every messiah known to man from all religious texts in the world.
I believe it will be in CA. All signs I have seen point to CA for our “messiah” to come near the golden gate bridge.
